This afternoon, I was moderately surprised to find myself going to the cinema with my little sister without anyone else - parents / good friends. I rarely ever go to the cinema as going to the cinema with my little sister usually ends up with me being thoroughly embarrassed by her rude behavious, language and irrating comments throughout the film.
So, finding myself waiting at the bus stop with a well behaved 14-year old, was kind of startling. Especially when sat on the bus, she didn't bother me once whilst I was reading the metro (I was catching up on metro mail as I didn't get a copy this morning on the way to sixth form), and when we had to get off. So far, my journey was hassel free and I was actually getting excited about going to the cinema.
Of course, I get near the cinema and then need to draw some cash to pay for myself (My sister had a buy one get one free card so no cash for her...). So the cash machine had to be out of £10 notes, and I, being the stingy little sh*t I am, was forced to take out £20. So now I've got a tenner in my room, never to be touched again....EVER! I think that was the only downside of the evening out.
I get the payements sorted for the movie, and totally realise....I don't know what I'm watching! The cashier person and my sister rescue me though. Apparently we were going to watch PAUL. A film I wanted to see with my friends who dumped me like hot coals when I said I couldn't make it...and then stopped contacting me for a very long time....So I was very happy with the film choice, so offered to buy a combo sharer to share with my little sister.
Fantastic. She doesn't like sweet popcorn and had already bought a drink for herself. What are the chances? (She ate half that popcorn anyway!)
Now the film was brilliant. At first it took me a while to figure out when the little alien appears...but when he did...I thought "Wow! He smokes!" After that, it was the usual...except it wasnt the usual. I mean come on - Would you expect an alien from outer space to be swearing in Enaglish, in America, dissing Christian religion and to be mooning people, whilst saying the most funniest, I mean, ahem, the rudest things? N'uh!
I believe I choked on some popcorn when Paul was asking if the pair were gay.
Turns out I'm more embarrassing than my sister, strange...
So, just finished my delicous indian curries, so now I;ve got to design a birthday card for my little cousin. He likes swimming and diving. Obvious card design.
So I'm off! See ya' later!
Fantasy
P.S.
I totally can't wait for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides to come out! My sister denied that there was going to be fourth film until she saw the trailer. Me? I was estatic. She was bored. Boring child I must admit.
P.P.S
I know I took my sister to a movies underaged, but just for the record, in exactly 30 days she will be 15. So boo'Ya!
P.P.P.S
Don't know why I said that...
