14th December 2011

Hello
Its been another seven days, and I'm feeling a little piggy eating the chocolates out of my two advent calendars each day. Honestly, though, one advent calendar has the smallest choclate moulds that there is barely any chocolate, whereas the other has massive moulds, overflowed choclate and tin foil to keep it fresh. I know which advent calendars I want for next year :P
So, I've already sent off my Christamas list to Father Christmas (AKA family) and now I'm busy reading other Christmas lists myself, and trying to buy all the right presents, at affordable prices. That's becase, little ol' me has her car tax to pay this month, which is putting a massive dent in my budget. Looks like I'm going to flat broke soon, so I've got four more presents to buy. I've already bought three, but I've raised my spending budget to £10-£15 per person. That's a lot of money if you think about it.
I seriously think that Christmas is now a time of year where you are milked for money and then you've got nothing for the new year, meaning that you make a new years resoltuion to save up more money and get a good paid job, just so that you can survive another Christmas spending. And I haven't even got to Christmas yet!
My University application has been sent of to UCAS now, so now I can focus more on my studies and on my writing. Already I'm writing a short Christmas story, which will be posted on LJ only. I've categorised my work into poetry and nice short musings to Herald and Hot Sexy love stories to LJ. Of course, I'll be providing links from Herald to LJ so that you can find them. I'm not that thick of course.

So that's me for now.

Thankyou for reading!

7th December

Wow, seven days since my last post. heehee!

Yesterday was my birthday and I am now 19 years old. God I feel so old. One more year and then its half way to 40 one of my friend's sister told me. eek, that is so scary.

At the weekend though, I had a brilliant Birthday present. My parents took me shopping at the Metro Centre, and we shopped for clothes and christmas presents.
But unknown to me, the real treat was not the B-E-A-U-tiful dress I got, but dinner at Spur.
Yum - Monkey Gland sauce, seasoned mushroom suace, a thick medium rare steak which was so juicy and delicious and a can of  Spar-letta Green Cream Soda! YUM!!

Basically I had a great time over the weekend and a fab birthday.

Only downside is whilst I'm typing this post, I'm looking out the window and its snowing, sleeting and raining. It keeps changing. Ah, its snowing now. The flakes are bigger. And I've got to drive home in this in an hour. Country lanes and snow and ice - not great I tell you!

Oh, add on gale winds too. The wind has now picked up.
!grr!

Post again soon!
Bye bye!

1st December 2011

Wow, is it that time of year already?

Amazing isn't it, and to top it off, I've heard one christmas song on the radio and tonight I'm helping in making a school christmas grotto. How cool is that!! I'll find out whether I can bring my camera and take photos while we work and of the finished design :D

Wow, I'm feeling so christmasie and festive that I want to start buying all my christmas preseents for my family - oh wait, I already started. I've sorted out my mum and my aunt (money spent wisely I think), I have ideas for my grandma and dad, but I'm totally lost for my sister, cousin and grandad. Oh, I know what my sis and cuz want, but I sooooooooooo can not afford to buy them X-box games and new computers. I'm not a money tree ~although my finances did get a boost last night~

So it is now the first of December,  and only five days till my birthday, 21 days till my mum's birthday, and 24 days till Christmas!

Time flies when you are not noticing it... :(

...16 days until my media deadline...
SCARY!

I need to complete my coursework fast, so this is where I sign off on this blog.

See you later!

Hello everyone!

Its almost the end of the month and I haven't been posting for ages, so I thought, what the hell, I'd better get posting or people will slowly begin to lose interest in this blog - I've noticed on my stats that my blog is quite popular with USA and Russia.

So heehee, I'm here to brag a little, because usually when I post things on the web, no one really notices, so I feel kind of invisible. Ever had that feeling of being invisible? It's not that great and you lack the motivation to post.

My LJ account is quite popular at the moment, but I suspect that has something to do with the fan-fiction I've been currently writing. Its that Pets from an Alien Race I posted on the Herald a month back. It has progressed quite a bit, and now it is available on my fanficiton.net account. Feel free to have a look, but I warn thee, fanfiction is behind, where as LJ is up to date with a short spin off.

I've been lacking the time to post and to write at the moment because I've been doing a lot of work at Sixth Form and I've been popping down to Barnsley every weekend, so I don't have a computer on the weekend...Also, I've been stressing over the post - I was expecting a parcel to arrive on the Friday, but it didn't arrive. So when I got in on Sunday night and found a package, I was over the moon. That is, until I read the addressee - It was posted to the wrong house, the wrong village and the wrong bloody town! So now I have an unwanted package in my car until I go to the post office on my way home today...grrr....

Wow, I must say that this post is getting rather long, and I haven't even finished...

Friday night - I went to a concert where I saw Lloyd Daniels!! Cutie!! And I saw that Kitty and Ruthfrom X-factor. Although, I have to admit, I fell in love when I saw the boy band, Boulevard...*faints* There was one seriously good looking fella there!

I've got to admit though, I did miss about one hour of the show because I drove down from Harrogate after school, so I arrived at about 5.30pm. Thank goodness my sister and her friend were there since 3.45pm guarding a place at the front, because my friend only arrived at 6.30pm herself! Hey, we have legitimate reasons for why we were late - TRAFFIC!

Turns out I'm trusted a driver more by my sister's friend than my sister, because my sister chose to go in my firnd's car and not mine, and her friend wanted to go with me in my car. lol, that was fun, considering I was parked in a field which sloped downwards, and I had to drive up the hill to get out, whereas my friend was parked in the staff parkiong because she works as lifeguard at the swimming pool there...grrr...

lol, I think I've chatted long enough here, and I'm also running out of time.

Hee hee, blog again soon!

Time flies when....

...you're having fun or have a really bad cold.

I have just recently got over my really bad cold which made me a grumpy person to be with, especially when I was in a creative mood writing more chapters for my fanfiction. So now I'm all better and I'm happy again, meaning that I'm blogging again (when I'm ill I see no point in signing in to blog about me feeling sick). heehee

I know that it has been a while since I last seriously blogged, so I'd better get everything out in the open:

Real life has finally caught on to me, and has dragged me to looking at Universities, completing media coursework, doing my Biology ISA exams and preping for my Geography exam. I hope to get everything in order before I resume my internet surfing for pleasure.

At the current moment, I've snuck into another class to access a computer so that I can finish my blog and so that I complete most of my coursework, ;)

I've also now decided that I am most definitely applying for a University course, the one which I have in mind being the Royal Agricultural College down in Gloucester. It has a brilliant campus, and I'm already wanting to start the courses available. I'm considering the equine courses available and being able to work with horses whilst getting a business degree. My kind of cup of tea :P

So, my beautiful novel which I'm writing - also known as a fanfic - has slowed down tremendously, but never fear my few readers on this blog (even though I've got loads of readers on LJ and Fanfiction.net), the story will be posted and completed by the end of my A-level Course.

So until then!

This has been Fantasy :P

Well, that's all I really want to say at the moment.

I've got heaps of work to do including my geography and media!

The Lion King 3D

Wow!

I've just watched The Lion King in 3D, and I must admit, I was enchanted by the film, again. I was in tears from the get go to the end. When the sun rose, I was hit by waves of nostalgia as it reminded me living in South Africa once upon a time. Tears in my eyes...

Then we got to the scolding Simba bit ans Mufasa talking about the stars, and saying how he won't always be there...If you've already seen the film, the you already know then Mufasa is going to die, so there goes the water works...

After the Hyena and Scar scene, I cheered up listening to the corny jokes and stupid comments made. Mufasa....Mufasa...Mufasa...lol.

Then it was the stampede scene resulting in the big depressing bit. I'm not going to say any more, because...oh, too late...I'm crying...

Well, you get the idea, I cried all the way through the movie, but the worst bit was the Mufasa death scene and a child next to me says loudly to her mum, "What's wrong with his daddy? Why won't he wake up?" I didn't have the heart to even look at her, as I was leaking in the eyes....cry!!

I'm glad I watched The Lion King at the cinema, and hopefully, its become more popular, despite the cinema being empty except for the adults and kids my age (18 - 20) and their little kids (3-5).

So all in all! I love The Lion King!!

I've gone crazy with the new designs and I know, some of it loks weird, but this is gonna be my new Halloween design...ish.

Well, I actually have come up with the idea of changing the layout of the site each month, and I though, why not go halloween themed? So that's why there is a little bat for you guys to play with.

Well, I bet you guys have already noticed the adverts and the extra gadgets I've added. But don't worry, I won't make it too over crowded....I hope. If anything looks wrong, please please tell me!

Thanks a bundle everyone!

By the way, I've just updated Ai No Kusabi fan fic on The Herald. Go over to see the next part!!!

I so don't like the Doctor

No, not The Doctor, I mean doctors in general. The medical type, not the time travelling type. I'm a major Doctor Who fan, but no one can beat my cousin who is currently writing a letter to the BBC complaining about the script, because he has found so many problems with the current script as it contradicts with previous scripts.

Well, enough about Doctor Who and more about why I dislike medical doctors. I had to go and see the doctor for a minor surgery operation, but the thing is: I'm terrified of the hospital, needles and lots of blood...

So there I am having a minor op, and next thing I know, there's one massive needle that needs to be prodded into me...TWICE! So I somehow live through that by staring deeply intot he accompanying nurse's eyes and thinking about biological aspects of trees. Once the scary bit was eventually done, and my arm was numb, I continued to look to my left and had a very halting conversation with the nurse and doctor. WE talked about school, driving, biology and then onto me disecting hearts, livers and lungs in school. That was the worst bit, coz that was whe I have to have my arm BURNT to seal the wound. ARGH! Burning flesh makes one feel ill very easily if you remember that its your own flesh...

So there is my scary medical experience and on why I dislike the doctors. I don't mind my current doctor, but still....URGH!

Although, I'm also very scared of the dentist...Sticking needles and drills in my mouth is just....ARGH! Only one I don't fear is my optician, although I will fear them when its time for me to get my eyes treated with lasers. Burning flesh from the eye......Not sure if I can handle that...

People used to think I wanted to be a vet...well, I don't think I can, lol

Well that's me for now!!

Yes, I am now able to legally drive my car on my own around town and everywhere! Having passed my test now means that I can go home early and sleep in late on school days with frees! Hurray! My car is also now in full use and is no longer sat around eating my money!
Only thing left to do is to sort out the insurance and then I'm fully mobile!!
Hehe!
I can now look for jobs and now seriously think about getting a horse for share/loan!

"The Herald" Updates and Picasso

Hi Hi!!

...Looks like I really favour that greating now...
Oh well...

Well I've got more news which you guys may find interesting...or maybe not.

I've updated "The Herald" last night and there are now some new posts from my collection of stories. You can now read, Ai No Kusabi fan-fiction part 2, Thoughts on Human Nature, Vampyre's Horror part 1, and three pieces of poetry! To view, just go to "The Herald" and click on "Stories in Progress". There you will see links to the newly posted stories and poetry.

Well, that's that out of the way.

I've also got some bigger news: Picasso.

Nope, not the artist I'm afriad. This Picasso is a horse which I found on the internet needing someone to excercise him. See ing that he lived really close, I called up the owner, and now I'm waiting for the owner to come back to me on whether I can be involved in excercising this beauty.

So that's what's got me all in a bind at the moment, despite me being flooded with Biology and Gography homework. Seriously, I've got so much to do.

Well, that's me for now!

Crappy Computer Software

Would you believe it!

I was happily blogging on "The Herald" and the computer system which was installed by the school has blocked what I was posting! Seriously, who would have thought that I would have written anything to do with "Personal Weapons" and "Violence"??

I was just happily editing "The Herald" and I got a "Site Blocked" page pop up in my face, and categorised my post as "Personalised Weapons" and "Violence". And here I thought I was able to easily post my stories.

So, now I'm afraid that it may take longer for me to edit and update "The Herald" due to this inconvience which has presented itself to me.

I am now very curious as to know what was actually violent in my post, considering the previous post was about two lions shredding each other to bits!! *ponders* Maybe it was because I used the "f-word" that caused this...

Argh!

I don't understand it!

Wakari nai masu!!

Ai No Kusabi - The Wedge Inbetween

Prices for this novel seem to slowly decreasing - at last! Since the popular demand has increased for this genre. Last time I looked at Amazon, this small 300 paged novel was priced at £156, now I have learned that the price is £95.28 new, and only £51.29 used. Looks like I'll soon be able to buy this unless someone is willing to let me borrow this book.
I'm willing to pay for the other novels which are priced at around £6 - £7. Seriously, why price the very first book at horrendous prices, and then price the sceond and third novels at £7 and then the next five at £6. Do they want us to read this novel backwards???
Looks like I've finally managed to persuade the internet payers to up the Gigs for downloading videos from the internet, so looks like this January I'll beable to get a copy of the newly re-made versions of the OVA. I can't wait.
I also now have a livejournel account, username: Fantasydotcom82
Look out for me there!!!

Why did the computer die?

Because of the Fluff!

Hi hi!

I've just got the verdict from the guy who's looked at my computer and... The tower was filled with fluff and dust causing the fan to burn out parts of the unit. Sigh, at least it had nothing to do with the software - at least I've still got the brand new Norton package which can cover a new tower. So, I'm now having all the software rescued from the hard drive, and hopefully I'll get a new tower.

*looks at bank*

A new tower which I can afford would probably be a £250 one with low GB memory and Hard drive... PC World is gonna cost a fortune! Looks like I'm going to have to beg my parents for some money to fund for a new computer tower.

I'm already fed up with this laptop because its so slow and has cranky keys causing me to jump around when I'm typing, although I've found a way to avoid this by typing with raised wrists and typing downwards, bearing in mind that I type rather quickly. Oww, my aching shoulders - who would have thought that typing in this position would affect the shoulders.

*drinks hot chocolate*

Mmmh. That hit the spot -lovely and soothing for when dealing with problems. It rained when I was walking home from the bus stop, so I was sopping wet when I got in, thankgod I was offered a hot chocolate when I got in.

Speaking of school - well, its making me think of school - I've been conned twice this week!!!!

Tuesday, I only had one lesson at 1.45pm until 2.35pm. Bus arrived at 3.25pm. I arrived at school at 1pm and at 2pm we were informed that the lesson was cancelled. SCREAM!!!!! Meaning that I didn't need to go to school!

Wednesday, it was inset day so no school.

Thursday, I had a lesson in the morning at 9am til 9.55am, a known cancelled lesson at 12pm til 12.55pm and a lesson at 1.45pm til home time, 3.30pm. So I waited for the last lesson at 1.45pm. It was cancelled!!!! SCREAMS!!!!!!!!!!! WHY ME!!! So I only had one lesson which meant I could have gone home at 10am!

Grrrr!

Bad week for me, considering on Monday my computer keeled over and died.

Computer has finally DIED!

I'm ready to cry out in frustration soon!

My computer has decided give up the ghost and die. It doesn't want to turn on, ever! Seriously, I press the on switch and then it dies.... So now I have no access to my computer files and to many websites because I'm using an OLD CRANKY laptop which is monitored and using computers with big blocks on them blocking me from nealy all good websites....*cry*

I thought it was to do with the internet security because it was misbehaving the night before, so I spent £60 on Norton, only to have the damn machine die before I could even think about putting the disk into the drive...

So, I'm not gonna be around for much....wah!!!!

And I was so looking forward to January and all the new releases.... :'(

Another Day

Hello

Its been another day and as usual everything has finally slotted into place and now there is a routine. Never liked routine, since its so predictable...

So anyway, education has been going ok, I've got into the lessons fine and now I'm on my way to passing with good marks, hopefully. After dropping my favourite subject literature because I didn't want to hate it, I've been doing some independant writing again. Its relaxing and I should do it more... I stopped writing in August 2010, so I think I should write again.

Hee hee, which is why I've created another blog, The Herald, where I'll be posting literature and commenting on my favourite online reading material. Feel free to browse there, just note that I won't be forgiving if anything were to be published without my knowledge.

Oh, when you look at my list of blogs, you'll see a blog called "Media A2". That's a blog specifically designed for my coursework. Yes, its my coursework, amazing ne.

Well that's all for now.

Do look at my other blog "The Herald"

A new school and new everything

Okay, I've finally found some time to attend to my own blog which looks a little neglected at the moment. I've been busy with my other blogs for school and been busy by creating a new blog where I'll be posting short stories and poems, questioning the purpose of life. Well that's my theme, but the stories may go off on a tangent. If its good, I might hopefully get it published.

Well enough about that for a while, and more about why I "vanished" for much of the summer months. Unless you don't already know, I've been having a really stressful time, with me moving out of my family home to live up north with my grandparents. Then there's the things that need to be changed, such as doctors, dentists, schools, clothes, driving tests (I still haven't passed yet) and lots of stressful moments with my family. There was also a trip to Spain that need to included as well.

Let's start with Spain - Now that was fun! I got a nice tan, got to go clubbing with my cousin and her boyfriend, and got to go on a catermarran which went past Antonio Banderas' VILLA!!!! We went into the Ice Bar, nothing special (just a big walk in freezer) and drank lots of cocktails. Besides that, we mainly lounged on the pool area or on the beach. The night life was so much better. Maybe that's why the British are renown for their drinking - Because there is nothing to do really!!! But I still had fun.

Oh yeah, you are looking at the title of this blog and are wondering about this new school I'm at now aren't you. Well, considering that I've attended a College and a Sixth Form already, you must be curious about what I've attended now...I'm in a Sixth Form!!!!! But this place is so much smarter and more business like, with more students going to Oxbridge and Cambridge than ever! Its a nice school and the people here are so much nicer than the previous sixth form. I've already got a group of friends and now I'm no longer the lone student. Well, I am alone now, but that's because I really didn't want to go to town for lunch and the person I was with for the past hour had to go and see someone. So now I'm spending the free time I have now to blog (all notes done for now :P )

The school itself is nice, but really old except for the sixth form area which has been rebuilt for the new students. And instead of the usually 5 lesson a day routine, there are 6 lessons a day!! Fightening huh! Took me a while to figure the times out, heck I'm still confused about them!

My cousin J attends a different school to me. Its only around the block, but its still one of the strictest schools around here, this school included. So I'm on my lonesome here, but at least its a good place to learn and has a nice atmosphere around it.

Righty yo!

I think I've typed for England here, no scratch that! SOUTH AFRICA! And that reminds me; the Spring Bokkes have one the first game against Wales! Even though they played badly, a win is still a win! England also won against Argentina, pity..... D:

Okay that's all for now!!

Bye bye!

Settle down

And now life has finally calmed down a bit now.

I may not have said much, but now that I've finally moved out of my family home, things should be looking up for me soon.

I've now found a new College and now I'll be attending Harrogate Grammar School, one of the leading schools in the area, where I will finish all my courses. I've also got my car MOT sorted, so soon I'll be driving around again and hopefully pass on the 2nd Aug. Hopefully that is.

Now that I'm in the Harrogate area, now I'll be able to see my cousin J more often - especially since he wants to be a diver, so now I can see him diving. I go as often as I can now; going on Saturday to see him dive!!! (Its got nothing to do with the fact that there is an extrememly good looking diver there with a toned body and a sixpack!!!) Seeing my cousin dive is really cool; but now my grandma is encouraging me to try it out (looks at the 5m platform, cringe!!!!)

I now no longer work at the Hotel anymore and neither do I present at Radio Barnsley. Sorry folks... I'm looking at the Hospital Radio at the moment, but I first need to get my life more sorted before I even do anything like that yet.

Well, I've now blogged and now I'm happy.
